1888-89 This 1897 New South Wales stamp features an allegory of charity with a surtax for a home for consumptives. The stamp is a semi-postal type with a denomination of 2½ pence plus 2 shillings and 6 pence in rose blue and gold color. The stamp is in mint condition with a hinge remnant and has been graded as VF or very fine. This stamp is a great addition to any collection of Australian stamps or stamps from around the world.
